Key legislation includes the £450m Boiler Upgrade Scheme which comes into effect in England and Wales from April 2022 and offers householders a £5k grant towards an Air Source Heat Pump installation or £6k towards a ground source heat pump. Applicants must also hold recognised trade qualifications in plumbing & heating alongside water bylaws, G3 (unvented) regulations and Energy Efficiency.
